Andrew Terman

Andrew attended Lansing Community College before beginning the Blue Heron Academy for Exercise Science. He has more than 15 years experience as a trainer and a background in holistic health and wellness as a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist®.  He was the nutritionist for the Colombian Davis Cup Team and has provided nutrition programming to a multitude of professional athletes.  Andrew was the recipient of the 2013 + 2015 Bradenton Herald’s Best of Bradenton in the Nutritionist category.  He is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the USAW.

With greater than 15 years of experience as a trainer, Niels is a leading figure in the tennis and golf community. He was the strength and conditioning coach for the Colombian Davis Cup Team for 3 years and concurrently the individual strength and conditioning coach for the ATP tour for Colombian Tennis players Santiago Giraldo (who reached his highest ranking ever-26th in the world while under Niels’ tutelage), Alejandro Falla, Rob Farrah and Juan Cabal.  Athletes from the LPGA, PGA and NCAA trust their strength and conditioning programming to Niels to ensure they are in peak physical condition.

Tori White

A Registered Nurse by trade, Tori has always made health and wellness a priority.  She has competed in several athletic competitions across the state with superior results and stands as an example of what dedication and hard work can accomplish.  Most recently, she completed her USA Weightlifting Strength Coach certification.

Keith Alkire

Keith’s innate athletic ability and charisma make him a natural leader in group training. Born and raised in Manatee County, Keith played varsity soccer at Bradenton Christian School. Keith began as a trainer with Fit Crew in 2012. He honed his training skills in Los Angeles California while pursuing an acting career (He is best known for his role in Muse) for a year before returning to Fit Crew in late 2015. Keith completed his Crossfit Level I certification, has his master personal fitness phase 2 certification with AAA/IMSMA and specializes in coaching technique.

Ray Gardner

Born and raised in Detroit, Ray is passionate about fitness, athletics, and inspiring people to be the best versions of themselves possible. Ray has always been involved in sports; he was an all-star basketball, football, and track athlete in high school and went on to play basketball and football for Bethany College and Minnesota State. Ray came to Bradenton for football camp four years ago. Instantly, he felt at home with the warm weather, friendly people, and all the opportunities that the area had to offer. His coaching career includes 2 years of weight training, 10 years of basketball and football skill development, and 2 years of college basketball. Ray also was the athletic director at the AMICC for two years and a director of youth basketball, football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. He specializes in high-intensity training, and is excited to bring a new specialized class to Fit Crew, Ultra H.I.I.T.

Kourtney Koehler

Kourtney has been in the Bradenton area since 2012. She has 16 years of a competitive dance background and five years of strength training, conditioning, yoga, stretch, TRX, and plyometrics experience. After suffering from a rare autoimmune disease and seeing her dad struggle with severe cardiac issues, Kourtney realized that there was no reason not to be living the healthiest life you can live, as you never know what life may bring you. Because of this, Kourtney’s goal is to inspire others to achieve their healthiest life. “I live, dream, and eat fitness everyday of my life. I have a true passion and want to share this love with others who have the aspirations to become a better, stronger version of themselves”.

Mason Bell

Mason Bell was locally born and raised in Sarasota where he began involving himself in sports at a young age. He picked up soccer at the age of eight and has continued to play throughout his life for several local teams such as Braden River Rage, FC Sarasota, and IMG Academy. After high school, Mason joined CrossFit Bradenton for two years, where he was able to instruct weekly classes and kid’s summer camps.  After graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2016, he turned his focus towards health and nutrition to achieve his own personal body goals since he was unhappy with his body image, weighing in at 139.4lbs with 12% body fat. After two years of research, hard work and dedication, he has reached his ideal image of 160.2lbs and 17% body fat. Mason’s passion lies in helping achieve their own fitness goals and guiding them through the journey that he went on himself.

Joshua Conn

Joshua Conn is a seasoned athlete, having competed in 22 triathlons, a multitude of running races and a 10-hour adventure race all before joining Fit Crew in 2012. Josh has completed the following certifications through the NFHS: AIC Level 1 and CIC Level 2 (Baseball). Josh is also certified through USA Weightlifting, USA Baseball, and has completed both CPR and Concussion courses. Outside of Fit Crew, he serves as the Head Coach for middle school baseball at SSES and has 7 years of experience as a Head Basketball coach.

Monica Simpson

As a competitive gymnast and dancer, Monica has always had a love of physical activity and competition. Monica brings expertise as a Spinning® Instructor, a Rollassage Specialist, and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer. She is passionate about functional exercise, helping people stay active as they age, post workout recovery, as well as helping take people to the next level physically – discovering the hidden athlete in everyone.

In her spare time, Monica enjoys playing co-ed soccer, flag football and volleyball, along with volunteering and trying out new types of exercise and self-care to make the most of every day. Living life to its fullest is part of her personal philosophies. In the spring of 2018, Monica founded MuniPlan, her urban planning and permit consulting firm.  She also writes the weekly sports article for the Anna Maria Island Sun. 

She is excited to be able to bring all of her passions to Fit Crew Bradenton.
