August Athlete of the Month
Ismael is one of our newer clients at Fit Crew, but he has made incredible progress in his time with us! Previously, Ismael worked out at a bootcamp fitness chain and upon coming to Fit Crew, he only made it through seven minutes of his first workout with Ray. Unshakeable, he returned with an unwavering determination to improve and keep going. Now, Ismael trains with us 3x a week for 30 minutes and does an hour of core and cardio. He is doing more pull-ups, push-ups, bench pressing, and squatting than ever, and has lost 20+ pounds while upping his muscle by 14 pounds.
Hard work aside, Ismael's dedication to his health never gets in the way of being a kind and caring person. He goes out of the way to say hello and encourage every person he comes in contact with, regardless of if he is out of breathe or struggling with a workout. He is well-liked in the gym's community and extremely deserving of the AOTM feature!
His trainer, Ray Gardner, made a request that we also recognize Ismael for stepping up his workout outfit game :)

Hi, my name is Ismael I was born here in Bradenton, Florida, but both my parents were born in Mexico. I have a lovely wife that is my number one supporter. We have 3 wonderful children! Barbering is my passion, as I have been a barber now for about 6 years. It has been the best career choice I have ever made.

What do you think makes Fit Crew different from other gyms that you’ve tried in the past
When you walk into Fit Crew, everyone greets you with a smile and we motivate each other to overcome the challenges we face, almost as if we were a family.
